Dave Loucks' competed at Oswego Speedway in 1982, learning the ropes driving the former Shampine wedge supermodified. After taking the '83 season off, he re-grouped and teamed up with Joe Hawksby Sr. for the 1984 season. He unfortunately passed away in October of that year due to illness. |
Dave purchased Jim Shampine's famous wedge car from Tom Holly. He campaigned the car in 1982 and made three features in July and August. |
