Well folks the third race of the Magic House Sim Racing League is in the books and what another amazing race we had on hand as the Outlaw Super Latemodels took to the wicked fast Orlando Speedway in sunny Orlando Florida.

Let’s get to the action of this 50 lap feature. Heat 1 winner Willie Patterson will lead the field to the green with heat 2 winner Jake Zoll. Zoll the old veteran of the group in the passing weeks has had some solid run up front maybe tonight can be his night.
The green drops and Slick Willie Patterson jumps the start taking a three car lead into turn 1. Your top 5 on lap one is:
1. Patterson, 2. Zoll, 3. The Hack Nick Stremme, 4. Cousin Bob Boley, 5. El Dusto Dusty Dean
Lap 5 Zoll gets bad loose off of turn 4 but saves it costing him two spots on the track moving him back to 4th. Hard charging Stremme and Dean set there sights on Patterson and then the caution flies on lap 6 bunching up the field and that isn’t what Patterson wanted to see. Your top 5 now is:
1.Patterson, 2. Stremme, 3. Dean, 4. Zoll, 5. The Outlaw of the Carolina’s Jessie Jr

The green drops and Jessie and Zoll make contact with Jessie coming out with the bad end of the deal loosing the 5 spot to Boley. Stremme all over the bumper of Patterson looking high looking low but just can’t get a clean run at the leader with Dean running 3rd in the catbird seat waiting for something to happen. Caution flies on lap 11 and that puts the heat even more on the leader Patterson with a mirror full Stremme and a hand full of wheel. Your top 5 now is:
1. Patterson, 2. Stremme, 3. Dean, 4. Zoll, 5. The Terror of Canada Tony Reiner

Lap 20 Zoll misses the corner and Reiner jumps at the opportunity to take the spot bringing Boley with him. The drivers go on a long 20+ lap run with no positions changing hands. During this time Patterson and Stremme tip the bell boy and check out from the field.
Lap 35 Boley hard into the outside wall leaving the door open for last weeks feature winner Flyin Brian Strickland to take over the 5 spot as the rest of the top 5 remain the same.
Caution comes out on lap 45 and boy that was something Patterson didn’t want to see with a very fast Nick Stremme knocking on his door, your top 5 now is:
1. Patterson, 2. Stremme, 3. Dean, 4. Reiner, 5. Flyin Brian Strickland.

As the white flag comes out Stremme gives Patterson a shot in the rear bumper and waves at him just like in the movie Days of Thunder but Patterson would not be phased as he throws the bird out the window net to Stremme.
The green flag drops and Flyin Brian Strickland waste no time going to work on Reiner taking over 4th with now his sights set on a podium finish but Strickland would run out of time and the checkered fell it was Patterson in the Jr Hanley House Car crossing the finish line first.
We had a talk with Patterson in Victory Lane and that’s where we seen a emotional Patterson thanking Junior Hanley for giving him a chance to drive his car and he thanked the fans of a packed house of 20,000 people on hand to watch the local Florida guy win in his home state. Stremme comes over to join in the festivities to tell Patterson I almost had you. Patterson reply was well thank god we are not playing hand grenades.
