A top 5 in the 2006 Classic!
Definitely something to smile about! Tom brought the team out of hibernation for the first time in '06 on Aug 12th with everyone focused on Classic. Barry Caan took over crew chief duties as Barry Kingsley had gone racing himself in '06 and made some changes looking for a little more speed.
Danny got busy and hung new bodywork on the 65. Josh Becker, Dan's mom Jan Kapuscinski and many others all pulled together on short notice to make it happen... and happen it did!
The Aug 12th and Aug 26th shows served the team well as many potential "fires" were put out. Many things were corrected, any one of which could have resulted in a DNF in the grueling Classic. It was truly a team effort.
