Bobby Baker

 Bobby Baker competed at Oswego from 1958 to 1967. He began his driving career at Oswego in 1958, competing in the "B division".
In 1961 he moved up to the A division in the Hammond Brothers #14. He had several top 10 runs with this car. 1962 would find him wheeling the Virgo C-47. The ride became available when Bernie Bellinger left town due to job commitments.
In 1963 Bobby timed 2nd quick for that year's Classic. Baker had several good runs in 1964 through 1966 with the C-47,highlighted with a third place finish on June 27th, 1964.
On Aug 26th 1967, Bobby Baker finished 10th in Nick Virgo's #23.It was the only feature appearance for this car that year and possibly Baker's final race at Oswego.
