In 2008, the Eagles Fan Club sold out the “Super Fan Plan” tickets on Saturday of Budweiser Classic Week. Since the Fan Plan ticket program began, it was common to see Eagle board members selling the last of the tickets on Classic Sunday. That all changed in 2007 with the tickets selling out on Saturday. The trend continued for 2008 which guaranteed the winning ticket holder walks away with $10,000.
Four drivers registered for racing on Budweiser Classic Week were among the prize winners that were revealed after the SBS Bud Classic on Sunday. The big winner was Canadian Tim Timms, driver of the #33 supermodified. For Timms, who did not make the Budweiser Classic in his first attempt, the $10,000 jackpot was only surpassed by Doug Didero's Classic prize money. On June 2, 2009, Tim Timms passed away unexpectedly.
