Rebel Jackson Sr., after deciding to come out of retirement at age 62, was killed in
an accident while racing super-
modifeds at Portland Speedway. His son, Rebel Jackson Jr. was the winner of the race. Jackson’s racing career started in 1948, and included roles as driver, sponsor and owner. He was the first inductee into Spanaway Speedway's Hall of Fame. |
